Thinking about selling your house, or has your house been on the market for a long time and you haven’t had to much activity?

There are plenty of reasons why a home will hangout on the market. However what company and what Realtor you choose is at the top of the list. So if your house has been on the market for a while, you may want to consider looking into what marketing your realtor is actually doing. During your agents listing presentation I’m sure they mentioned about how his or her marketing plan is the best to get homes sold quickly and the listing price is on point than something is being done incorrectly or not being done at all. Let’s say your agent is doing what he or she said they would do to market your home etc which I hope they’re doing. I would then think of other possibilities of why it’s not getting attention. While it may not be possible for you to invest large amounts of money to improve your home, there are plenty of inexpensive and simple things every home owner can do to maximize the chances getting it sold within a reasonable amount of time.

As a homeowner, it’s very easy to overlook small things that you’ve grown accustomed to that could be a major turn off to a market filled with buyers with over the top expectations. If you’re willing and able to walk through your house in the garage outside of your home with a sharp eye, you could find things that you can change and that might just be a huge difference when it comes to an offer or hearing the words NEXT. Don’t let something you can easily change and control cost you the sale of your house.However listening to a Realtors listing presentation is very important. If you notice something that will provide great results or exposure in the process of selling your home in a Realtor’s presentation that you didn’t notice from the rest than you should give that agent a chance.
